Improving Mathematical Critical Thinking Ability Through Realistic Mathematics Learning In JHS Students

Critical thinking is a structured way of in making decisions and solving problems. Because the critical ability junior high school students low, realistic mathematics learning considered to be able improve students' ability. The purpose research this article describe improvement mathematical through reviewed from indicators averages increase each cycle. This type Class Action Research that carried out 2 subjects consisted teachers 16 class VIII Muhammadiyah 5 Junior High School Surakarta. data analysis technique study qualitative descriptive identify during process. results student work, are done by giving score on indicator. Score 1 if correct 0 wrong. showed application improving think critically mathematics. average 23.75% pre-cycle, 71.25% cycle I, 85% II.
